Alebrije Mexican Grill & Tequila Bar on French Ave is back and you won’t believe who is part of the new ownership group!
None other than our friend Chef Conrado Alatorre who was the founding Chef at El Zocalo Mexican Restaurant on Sanford Ave. back in 2017 and the Chef for Tacon Madres Food Truck that was parked for months at Wild Wild West End Saloon.
We recently had the opportunity to taste many of the items on the menu and they are as amazing as ever!
Some of our favorites were the Alebrije Machete and Baja Tacos!
Along with partners Sandra Ramos and Karina Lopez, they promise to bring back Authentic Mexican Flavors to this beautifully designed space and keep the name Alebrije Mexican Grill & Tequila Bar!
You can expect weekly food specials, live music, more fiestas, drink specials, special events, Sunday brunch and more importantly amazing Mexican cuisine!

Chef Conrado is from Puebla Mexico and we all remember what Anthony Bourdain said about chefs from this amazing city! Chef Conrado started his career in the food industry in 1999 and has been cooking authentic Mexican dishes ever since! Now as a chef-owner, his dream of owning a restaurant has come true and his talents are shining through.

WEEKLY EVENTS
Monday – Happy Hour kicks off every week Monday – Thursday 3-7pm featuring half-price House Margaritas ($6.50) and Queso Dips ($5) plus enjoy the special Sangria and Domestic Draft Beer for only $5!
Tuesday – Taco Tuesday all day 11am-9pm. Enjoy $3.00 hard shell, soft flour or street tacos w/ various proteins plus House Margaritas for only $6.50, your favorite Mexican Bottled Beer or Domestic Draft Beer for only $5!
Wednesday – Golf Cart Drivers get 10% Off. Alebrije is located in the Winn Dixie plaza on French Ave and you’re able to get there on your golf cart from 15th St. If you show your server a ‘golf cart key’, you receive 10% off on Wednesdays!
Thursdays – Thirsty Thursdays featuring Loggerhead Cocktails! Alebrije now carries Loggerhead Vodka and is featuring a Loggerhead Mexican Mule and Loggerhead El Morado! Also enjoy discount on select margaritas!
Saturdays – Enjoy live music every Saturday from 5-9pm in a family friendly environment.
Sundays – Brunch featuring from 11am to 3pm bottomless Mimosas for only $20 w/ the purchase of an entree! Entrees include Egg Enchiladas, Egg Burritos, Mexican Skillets, Huevos Rancheros and much more!
