More development and residential units are coming to Historic Downtown Sanford as site plans for the Vistas at Lake Monroe were unanimously passed by the City Commission last week.

The Vistas will be an 80-unit residential complex located at 1101 and 1105 E. 1st St. at the intersection of Mellonville Ave. and Seminole Blvd. Of note, the construction is anticipated to include a rooftop lounge on the western side of the building, offering residents and their guests prominent views of sunrise and sunset, as well as picturesque views of Lake Monroe.

Located on the Sanford Riverwalk and a mere few minute stroll from the bars, restaurants and events of Historic Downtown Sanford, the Vistas at Lake Monroe are intended to be condominiums for sale to the public. Demand is sure to be high based on the location and the demand for housing in and around Historic Downtown Sanford.

Attorney Lewis has served on the board of directors for the Sanford Chamber of Commerce, as a Commissioner on the City of Sanford Planning and Zoning board, runs a large non-profit entity, and has otherwise been involved in countless large-scale growth projects in Sanford, Florida. He is a two-tour United States Air Force veteran who served his nation in time of war, is heavily involved in a variety of local civic, community, and charitable functions, and owns the most recognized legal practice in Sanford.
