Move over Meryl Streep: There’s a new Mamma Mia in town!
On March 6, the WDPAC will be opening its latest community production of Mamma Mia. It’s a story of love and hidden pasts. When young Sophie Sheridan is about to married, she discovers that her estranged father could be one of three men! To figure out the paternal mystery, she invites all three to her wedding, much to the chagrin of her mother, Donna. What sort of antics will ensue when Donna is face to face with the men of her past?
As a true community theatre, all performers at the WDPAC are volunteers, but don’t think that means they’re lacking in talent. These incredible performers have banded together to create a show full of energy and heart under the direction of Doug Carey. Doug has directed over ten shows at the WDPAC.
