We are happy to announce that the Historic Downtown Sanford Visitors Guide v2.1 will be printed and distributed the week of July 1st in anticipation of the thousands of visitors to downtown Sanford and Fort Mellon Park for the Star Spangled Sanford Fireworks Extravaganza that night put on by The City of Sanford!
Now at double the size as the previous version (now 32 pages), it boasts support from the city, county and business community and features some of downtown’s best! It also includes some great articles on our fine craft beer & cocktail scene as well as our award-winning restaurants.
“I think as we welcome more and more visitors to beautiful Historic Downtown Sanford, we need more marketing vehicles that will create awareness for the amazing offering the bars, restaurants, gastropubs and cafes are putting out there! The original vision to produce this guide came when working on the St Johns River Festival of the Arts marketing and awareness campaign. We noticed that a lot of the visitors were not completely familiar with the changes in downtown so we produced the first 16-page guide and we handed them out during the event, around downtown businesses and select Seminole County hotels! It was extremely well-received and now we’ve produced another version just in time for the thousands coming to participate in the Star Spangled Sanford 4th of July festivities!
You’ll also be able to pick up a printed copy at The Historic Sanford Welcome Center, The Trolley, as well as in many of the downtown businesses and Seminole County hotels.
