The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens is getting a very special new animal resident for two days in April—the Easter Bunny himself.
He’ll make a stop in Sanford for the Zoo’s beloved springtime event, Hippity Hop Adventure, presented by VyStar Credit Union, which will now take place on two days: April 1 and 2.
This springtime tradition attracts kids and parents alike to enjoy a live DJ, treat stations, face painting, inflatable bounce houses, arts and crafts, a magician, themed photo ops, and other fun activities, which include taking photos with the Easter Bunny. The Zoo’s animals will also receive Easter-themed enrichment items in their habitats over the two days.
This year’s Hippity Hop Adventure will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with last entry at 3:15 p.m., and is included in general admission to the Zoo.
“Hippity Hop Adventure is a yearly tradition for not only us at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens, but for many families,” said CEO Richard E. Glover, Jr. “We’re thankful to VyStar Credit Union for helping us continue this fun celebration of the season.”
